Tennis players get their money's worth during their holiday in Saalbach - whether spring, summer, autumn or winter: The open-air tennis facility with 3 well-tended clay courts is located in Saalbach directly behind the Tourism Service Center. In Hinterglemm, tennis players can work out in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm sports center in summer and winter. The sports center offers well-maintained tennis facilities with 3 indoor and 3 outdoor courts. In Zell am See tennis players will find five outdoor clay courts and four indoor granulate courts. In Saalfelden, everything is available on the beautifully located 6-court facility, including a ball machine. 3 clay tennis courts await players in Maishofen.

Above the trees in the Glemmtal

The interesting and fascinating "Baumzipfelweg" in Saalbach is located at the end of the Glemmtal valley. Here you will find the highest treetop hiking trail in Europe together with a circular route through untouched nature, an impressive valley bridge and the largest high ropes course in Europe! The natural circular route begins at the end of the valley parking lot and leads 2 km through alpine pastures, meadows and forests. The 1 km long tree top path with the 200 m long "Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps" starts at the Lindlingalm. The high ropes course consists of several sub-areas, such as 10 climbing courses, mega flying fox, canyoning course, jump & slide park and "free fall". The way there and back (2 km each) can be covered either on foot or by horse-drawn sleigh through the wonderful winter landscape.

Cross-country skiers can experience a lot on a holiday in winter and spring in Saalbach. A small but fine range of perfectly groomed trails awaits you in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Here you can run far away from the hustle and bustle in the valley as well as on a high-altitude trail. But of course you can do a lot more in the region. In the neighboring town of Maishofen you will find an illuminated cross-country ski run, in neighboring Zell am See you can walk around Lake Zell - one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Alps. You can also access the Pinzgau's large network of trails. More than 150 km of perfectly groomed trails for classic runners and skaters await you here in the region. The famous "Pinzga-Loipe" is also a dream for every cross-country skier. It leads around 200 km to Krimml, world-famous through the Krimml Waterfalls. Just walk in the direction of Krimml - at any point you can get on the "Pinzgau-Bahn", a narrow-gauge railway with a steam locomotive, and take it back to Zell am See - a unique experience Or try something new - take part in the "guest biathlon" in the nearby World Cup biathlon stronghold of Hochfilzen and test your stamina while running and accuracy while shooting.
